I'm Back!

I am sorry for the major delay in this next blog post! I have had an interested last two weeks! 1 reason is because I was offered 7 different jobs all at once (totally serious), and the other reason is because:

I'VE LOST 13 POUNDS!!!

I am so excited to see the amazing results of my first 9-day cleanse on my Isagenix program. I know the average weight loss on a first 9-day cleanse is about 7 pounds for a female.. SO, I guess I was fortunate enough to be well over the average for which I am so grateful! ... and excited to see the benefits so quickly!

I am also excited to get the news out to others about how amazing these products are!

SO.. my request of you guys is to spread the word to anyone in your life who may need help with nutrition, health, well-being, weight-loss, finances, etc. I believe these products can help, and I want to be able to help anyone who wants it!

PLEASE, lead others here to get inspired to make a change in their health and lives as well!

WEEKEND UPDATE

Hello! Sorry I did not post anything yesterday. But, it was a very basic day. I am still on my shake days because of the cleansing situation with the powder in the mail. I am still excited about the results I am already seeing though. I can tell my pants and clothes are fitting better already. I kind of can't believe it, but I feel great too!

So, even though I am not on the exact schedule set for me, I am already feeling great and seeing results. The ability to feel results so fast definitely serves as encouragement to keep going. And shake days are honestly not that hard now. They shakes really fill me up easily, and the point that this is a lifestyle change helps to keep me in moderation if I have a snack here or there. So I feel positive about it so far. BUT, I am really going to get competitive in my IsaBody Challenge here soon. I am simply easing into the process. I always feel that is best for any big change, and competition.

Today is NFL football day with my boyfriend's family, and they are going to be having some tasty food that I will not allow myself to eat right now. So, I will report how my willpower does throughout the day :-)

MAY DAY! MAY DAY! .... It will be okay.

Oh man. Today has been a little bit more difficult than the last two. BUT, this has its valid reasons. The third day of the Isagenix program is generally supposed to be what is called a CLEANSE DAY. They have two options for how this cleanse is incorporated: a liquid or a powder to mix with water. I now know that I may be better off with the powder that you blend with water. I started today with the liquid version of the cleanse, and my taste buds did not react too well with it simply because my body is not used to such nutritious liquid. Other people may have no problem with it, and I have even heard some people think it tastes like apple juice! So, I think it is simply a personal opinion. For me, I am going to go with the powder.

I had to call Isagenix to get an order of the powder sent to me. The number you can call for Isagenix help is always available, and the guy I talked with was very helpful! I should be getting my new cleanse powder in a few business days. However, this kind of messes up my daily program for my IsaBody Challenge in some ways. With this setback, one might get discouraged. BUT, I am choosing to look at the positives. I will continue doing my IsaLean Shake days until the Cleanse powder arrives. I think that it may actually be helpful to my body to have a few more days to get more in-balance and nutritious with the shakes.

I know people could look at this setback and think that they may be pushed back in the competition for their health transformation and the prize money. I, however, think I have so much room to improve that I can still make a big impact in the competition. I am a very determined person, and I will not allow this to mess up my mental toughness towards the competition. I have to keep my eyes focused on the goal.

My message to you guys is this: There will be times in any lifestyle change that you decide to create that may feel discouraging or dramatic. For a few moments it may feel like the plane is going down, and you want to scream: "MAY DAY! MAY DAY!" It is good, in those moments, to take a step back and find the positives as well as realize everything will be okay. Find out what you can do to make the best of it. That is what I am trying to do. AND, I am still determined to win back my health and the IsaBody Challenge!

Day 2: CHECK!

Today was not as hard as I anticipated based on my "2nd-day" theory. A lot of times, the second day of starting a new habit can be the hardest. While today was harder than yesterday, it was not a bad day by any means! I was hungry at times, but I was happy to have my IsaDelight chocolates every once and a while as a snack. Who wouldn't love a healthy nutrition plan where chocolate is truly GOOD for you (thanks to the wonderful product makers of Isagenix!).

I am also thankful to have the support of my friends and Isagenix family! My friends are praying me through this lifestyle change, and my Isagenix family are SO supportive. They send me little encouraging text messages throughout the day as well as call me to say hi and give me tips for my journey. I think having support through any change is a HUGE blessing and may critical in increasing the liklihood of achieving success towards one's goals. Losing weight is always hard; however, it is easier with amazing products (that taste good and fill you up) and with encouraging supporters as cheerleaders! PLEASE feel free to contact me for help should you decide to pursue this lifestyle transformation towards HEALTH and WELLBEING. AND... Don't forget about the competition to win money too! I will have more updates on that as we go!

DAY THREE: HERE I COME!!!!!

Day 1: COMPLETED - "over and out"

I am happy to say that I am finished with my first day on my Isagenix program and in my IsaBody Challenge. As I look back on the day, I feel I felt better than expected. The only time that I got a little hungry was in the late afternoon. Part of that was my fault though because I waited a little too long to eat lunch. It is best to space out your shakes and meal properly. BUT, I think it is all a learning process. So, now I know for tomorrow.

I am definitely going to start working out on a routine here soon; however, I wanted to give myself a week or so to adjust to my new eating lifestyle. It is best to ease into big changes so you don't get overwhelmed all at once. If that were to happen, one might get discouraged and drop out all together. That is not worth it so I am going to give myself a nice pace to begin this lifestyle change. I am still feeling hopeful as my first day was not nearly as hard as I thought it might could be.

Stay tuned for tomorrow! They often say the second day on a new habit is the worst of them all so I will let you know how it goes! Good luck with your own transformation and don't be afraid to start and make a change! Look at the program I am on here, and let me know if you have questions! It is going to be worth it in the end. I truly believe that!

Day 1: Mid-day update... THUMBS UP SO FAR!

Well, it's about 2:15 pm on my first day. I woke up, had my Isagenix vanilla shake for breakfast, and went about the start of my day! I mixed a few raspberries into my breakfast shake to add a new flavor, and it actually tasted very "berry" good to me! I enjoyed it! The shake did in fact fill me up like the claims have said which was to my surprise and delight!

Throughout the morning, I did some work and had an IsaDelight chocolate here and there to tide me over and am STILL doing awesome! I am going to have my second shake in a little bit, and I am truly still satisfied from this morning and my regular small snacks throughout the day. Along with the two IsaDelight chocolates, I have snacked on a few raw almonds, and I am doing just fine! I am actually not that hungry still. And, I still have a shake and a meal left to go today!

So, all is THUMBS UP so far on Day 1 of the mission towards:

- OPERATION HEALTH -

The EVE before the MISSION begins:

I am down to zero-800-ish (aka: 8 ish) hours before I embark on the first day of my mission towards OPERATION HEALTH. The following quote encourages me though:

"The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step" (Lao-tzu).

While I know that the road before me is long (at least 24 weeks to a lifetime to be exact), I am excited to get back my old, healthy self. I fully believe that the Isagenix products are going to be invaluable to me as well because of the multiple success stories I heard this weekend at IsaUniversity. I had been looking for help and for a program that had been successful for people I know and trust. I feel I have found the right program and products. I am so thankful! That makes the fight seem a little easier to embrace. The IsaBody Challenge , which offers the competition element, is also very motivating for me! I love a good challenge!

I also have been encouraged by my support system of friends and family. They have reminded me that I have to keep in mind this is a lifestyle change and a simple substitute for some of my meals. I can make mistakes, and everything will still be okay. I think the pressure that can come along with thinking about health in terms of "DIETS" can set one up for failure sometimes. It is important to see this as an easy way to change my habits but to not be overly critical of my decisions. Isagenix products are set up to simply make eating healthy fast, easy, enjoyable, and realistic. As such, I do not feel I need to worry or get nervous about the journey I start tomorrow.

The end to my recently-developed habits is simply the beginning to a new set of habits with better results and benefits. This is my optimistic outlook tonight on the EVE of my MISSION beginning tomorrow. Hopefully, I will be able to cling to this positive attitude at times when I am struggling to dedicate myself to the renewal of my healthy lifestyle. We will see!

HUDDLE TIME:

Soooo… We have all probably had the desire to be healthy. Some of us are successful at this while others of us struggle. I have been in the category where I have often BATTLED with my weight. I was a competitive swimmer my entire life which kept my weight relatively normal; however, since I’ve retired from the sport, I have constantly been in a battle.

This battle was not only for achieving and maintaining a weight with which I was content. I have also fallen far from the type of nutritional eating, exercise regimen, and personal health consciousness that I once had as a healthy person and competitive athlete. I am sure many of you have dealt with the “ups-and-downs” of these things in your own life. Now, however, I am on a mission to end this war. The mission I am embarking on is called:

- OPERATION HEALTH -
This past weekend, I went to a conference called: IsaUniversity. I have recently been introduced to the products of Isagenix, and I am excited to be a “product of the products”. This means that I am going to dedicate myself to working on my health in a very well-rounded way with the help of Isagenix products. The main focus of these products is: Nutritional Diet, Cleansing, and Energy. I am also going to fight to regain my exercise routine as well which will certainly benefit my psychological health too. I am on a mission for total health.

In fact, I am taking on a CHALLENGE set by the Isagenix company called the IsaBody Challenge. The challenge is a 24-week opportunity to transform your health. The Isagenix company has set up the competition to where you can become an Associate of the company (purchaser of the products) and, then, compete with others in that position for the chance to win up to $10,000.

As an athlete, I love competitions. One might not ever guess that about me as I am a friendly, fun-loving, and somewhat quiet person when you meet me; however, I LOVE sports, games, competitions, and fun rivalries. The IsaBody Challenge, however, is not only for those who love competition. Anyone is welcome to participate as long as they are an associate using the products (if interested, you can get more information about this on my personal website). All you need is the desire to work towards a new level of health in your life with the willingness to incorporate these amazing products as the ammunition you fuel yourself with in your battle to win!

That leaves me with my INVITATION to you! I am writing this blog to share my story about the battle I am about to go into to WIN back my health. I am going to be honest about the experiences I go through as I am sure there will be good days and bad ones. I will also share with you my experience with the Isagenix products as I am excited to see the help they provide to me as they have been acclaimed to help so many others. I would love for you to tune in daily to see how the battle is raging. I plan to win this battle: both the IsaBody Challenge in the Isagenix company AND the overall battle for my own health. This is something that is invaluable and worth a fight.

My hope with this blog is to provide inspiration to those who struggle with their health, weight, motivation to exercise, etc. I see that many of us struggle with this, and I want to be a source of HOPE. I am in this battle for my own health, BUT I also want to encourage YOU to at least DESIRE to fight for your personal health as well.
I actually have my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and my Master’s Degree in Kinesiology (which is like Exercise Science), so I think I can also provide a knowledgeable perspective to this personal journey as well. I welcome you into this time, and I would love to help you in your own battle should you be motivated to enter one. Just let me know!
More importantly, take courage and enjoy reading on! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE for HIM WHO BELIEVES! Miracles are possible. I am determined to win this battle. Let’s go embark on our mission:

- OPERATION HEALTH -
